A Tread mill test, often known as an exercise Tread mill test, demonstrates how your heart responds to physical exertion. An exercise Tread mill test can identify abnormalities with blood flow within your heart since activity causes your heart to pump harder and quicker.
A Tread mill test entails walking on a treadmill or riding a stationary bike while your heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration are all monitored. Alternatively, you may be given a medication that mimics the effects of exercise.
If you have indications or symptoms of coronary artery disease or an irregular heart rhythm, your doctor may recommend a Tread mill test (arrhythmia).
